I am running in the Dutch Tamiya Challenge with my car
Wished i had a all black car but those parts are rare to find if you only allowed the Tamiya parts.
Here is a pic of the starting grid at the first race last april 8-)
I was held at my home track.

Very nice photo.

I really like 180 mm + rubbers knowing it makes the car more difficult to drive and slow because you need to use low rpm motors, but always is a challenge.

Which are the rules in you area?

For this year we can use the F103 and all the F104's narrow and wide.
Foam or rubber
Motor the Carson cupmachine or the Tamiya Formula tumed motor.
Batteries lipo or 6 cells.
ESC is free, as is the gearing.
Body needs to be a Tamiya F1 body.
Weight 1100 Grams
Wings you can play with a bit.
Next year the F103 can only compete for the day win but not for the championship anymore and we are going to use the 21.5 brushless set from SP i believe.
This year the circuit of Modelracingmidland(Lelystad)
MBC de Sluis(Gouda)
ERCE(Eindhoven)
HFCC( Den Haag)
Hotwheels(Deventer)
MACH(Heemstede)
De Baanbrekers(Rucphen) are the circuit we are going to use.
I say if you have the time shoot Michael Lepelaar ar message if you can join ;)

I can tell you that the 21,5T Motor fits very well in the F1 Cars.
Last Year I raced in Wellington,NZ at a Clubrace with a F103 + Hacker C40 21,5T Setup and the Speed was very nice.

Well, that´s the actual look of the car, using GT430 ABC Hobby bodyshell now is a very efficient and fast "Slim-WGT" car:
